Rui Ferreira developed his style and artistic sensibility through years of experience within prestigious interior architecture and design studios, working on hotel projects and private residences across Europe and beyond. This professional journey allowed him to cultivate a comprehensive vision of space, where interior architecture and design converge seamlessly.
Educated at the Architecture School of Oporto and the Polytechnic University of Milan, he has achieved a refined balance between Portuguese austerity and purity and Milanese sophistication. His approach explores scale, proportions, materials, and colour, mastering light as a fundamental architectural element and creating unexpected yet harmonious compositions.
Each project is conceived as a unique narrative, shaped by context and the people who inhabit it. Rather than applying formulas, he focuses on creating tailor-made environments that are authentic, non-stereotypical and alive.
Rui Ferreira has lived and worked in Lisbon, Milan, London, Barcelona and Madrid, experiences that continue to inform his open, international perspective and his ability to move fluidly across creative scales—from residential interiors to hospitality, workplaces and bespoke design elements.
